How does glamour bombing relate to the otherkin?

Despite the popular notion that glamour bombing was created by otherkin and/or is primarily connected to the otherkin subculture, the fact is that two of the originators of the concept (myself included) do not identify as otherkin. However, the Darkfae-L list had a lot of otherkin as members, and they were among the most active and enthusiastic early adopters of this practice.

After the DarkFae-L forum was closed, otherkin were among those who preserved glamour bombing and kept the spirit of it alive. Although by now glamour bombing is closely associated with "kin" please understand that all are welcome to participate. Just a belief in magic and an affinity with the faerie realm is all you need.
